DUESOUTH XTERRA PRESENTED BY REHIDRAT® RETURNS TO KNYSNA

The first leg of the action packed 2010/2011 DUESOUTH XTERRA presented by REHIDRAT® will take place at the majestic PEZULA Private Estate, Knysna on Thursday, 08 July 2010 as part of the hugely anticipated Pick ‘n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival.

The DUESOUTH XTERRA presented by REHIDRAT® consists of three events taking place first in Knysna, then the North West Province before culminating in the Western Cape in 2011 in the form of the DUESOUTH XTERRA presented by REHIDRAT® South African finals.  The local series forms part of the XTERRA World Tour and athletes will have the opportunity to qualify for the world championship final in Hawaii. 

The Knysna leg is the only DUESOUTH XTERRA event that does not feature a water discipline, athletes can participate individually or in teams of two.

DISTANCE:          DUESOUTH XTERRA:  3km trail run, 25km mountain bike and 10km trail run

                           DUESOUTH XTERRA Lite:  3km trail run, 12km mountain bike and 5km trail run 

COST:                 DUESOUTH XTERRA:  R260 per individual / R360 per team of two (male/female/mixed)

                           DUESOUTH XTERRA Lite:  R130 per individual / R180 per team of two (male/female/mixed)

START:               DUESOUTH XTERRA Lite:  10h00

                           DUESOUTH XTERRA:  12h30

RACE BRIEFING:       15 minutes before the start of the race at Field of Dreams

Late entries will be accepted, however, a late entry fee will apply.
